싱가포르를 여행하는 사람이라면, 꼭 거쳐가는 창이공항이죠. 쥬얼창이는 창이공항 터미널 1 바로 옆에 위치한 쇼핑몰이랍니다. 싱가포르 내의 많은 맛집들과 빵빵한 에어컨, 그리고 어트랙션으로 여행객들 뿐 아니라 로컬 사람들에게도 인기가 많은 곳이죠.

It is a popular destination not only for travelers but also for locals, offering a wide range of delicious restaurants, air-conditioned comfort, and attractions within Singapore.

한국말로 운남성 또는 윈난성이라고 불리는 지역 "Yun Nan", 그 지역의 음식점이라고 생각하시면 될 것 같아요. 중국 유명 프랜차이즈 Yun Hai Yao의 첫 번째 해외 지점이자, 체인점이라고 해요.
If you're wondering which restaurant to choose among the many options at Jewel Changi, let me introduce you to my personal favorite. It's an eatery called "Yun Nans," also known as "Yunnans" in Korean. It is the first overseas branch of the famous Chinese franchise Yun Hai Yao and is part of a chain.

중국 음식점들은 메뉴판이 책이잖아요^^; 뭘 시켜야할지 결정장애 있는 저 같은 사람한테는 너무 어려운 곳입니다. 하하
사실 가장 유명한 메뉴는 삼계탕 같은 닭스프?! 같은 건데요. 물을 넣지 않고, 닭과 보약재료를 넣어서 아주 오래 끓여낸 중국식 삼계탕(?!)이라고 생각하시면 돼요. 한약재료 향이 좀 강한데, 몸이 엄청 피곤할 때 한국처럼 보양식 땡기면 한번씩 먹어주면 나름 개운하게 힘이 나기도 하고 그렇더라고요? 싱가포르 사람들도 보양식으로 많이 먹는 편이랍니다.
Yun Nans offers a typical Chinese menu with a wide variety of dishes. Chinese restaurants often have extensive menus resembling books, which can be challenging for someone like me who has decision-making difficulties. lol
The most famous dish is a chicken soup similar to "samgyetang" in Korean. It is a Chinese-style chicken soup made by boiling the chicken and medicinal herbs for a long time without adding water. It has a strong herbal aroma and is known for its rejuvenating effects when you feel exhausted. It is a popular nourishing dish not only among tourists but also among locals in Singapore.
애피타이저로 처음 나오는 버섯 피클과 deep fried pork
처음 앉자마자 제공되는 버섯 피클은 $2.50의 메뉴이니, 원하지 않으시는 분들은 처음부터 필요 없다고 말씀하시면 됩니다.
매번 오면, 새우튀김을 먹는 편인데 맥주 한잔에 돼지고기가 땡겨서 어제는 돼지고기튀김을 시켰어요. 맛은 사실 뭐 특별하진 않은 생각하시는 그 맛이지만, 저 초록색의 고추 소스가 새콤하게 맛있답니다.
As an appetizer, they serve mushroom pickles and deep-fried pork. The mushroom pickle costs $2.50, and if you don't want it, you can let them know at the beginning.
I usually order the shrimp tempura, however, I tried the deep-fried pork, which is not particularly special in taste but goes well with the sweet-sour green chili sauce last night.
제가 제일 좋아하는 메뉴 중 하나. Horfun with Truffle Prawn.
트러플 맛은 강하지 않고 조금 은은하게 나는 정도고요. 넓은 국수에 새우가 들은 소스를 넣어 먹는 건데 돌솥 위에 비벼 먹어서 따뜻하게 먹을 수 있어요.
One of my favorite dishes is the "Horfun with Truffle Prawn." The truffle flavor is not overpowering but subtly present. It is a dish with wide rice noodles and prawns in a sauce, and you can mix it on a hot plate and enjoy it warm.
포치드 라이스!!! 싱가포르에서 워낙 좋아하는 메뉴인데요. 윤난에도 포치드라이스가 맛있어요! 해물이 들은 살짝 걸쭉한 국물에 함께 나오는 누룽지(?!) 같은 걸 넣어서 불려먹는 음식이에요. 간단하게 한국의 국밥 같기도 하면서 누룽지탕 같기도 하면서. 저는 요 메뉴가 윤난에서 제일 맛있어요!
Another popular dish is the "Poached Rice." It is a dish that Singaporeans love, and Yun Nans also offers a delicious version. It is a slightly thick and flavorful broth with seafood, served with crispy rice cracker-like pieces. It's a simple yet comforting dish, somewhat similar to Korean nurungji-tang.
잘게 다진 돼지고기에 야채들을 함께 굴소스(?!) 간장소스에 함께 볶아낸 요리예요. 짭짤한 게 밥반찬으로도 좋고요. 저흰 맥주 안주로도 잘 먹히더라고요. 나쁘진 않지만, 한국에서 뭔가 먹어본 맛이라.. 강추하는 아이템은 아니에요!
The "Stir-Fried Minced Pork" is a dish where minced pork and vegetables are stir-fried in a sauce made of oyster sauce and soy sauce. It's savory and makes a great side dish with rice. While it's not something extraordinary, it reminds me of the taste of dishes I've tried in Korea. I wouldn't necessarily call it a must-try item, but it's still enjoyable.

싱가포르의 비싼 외식 물가에 비하면 사실 비싼 편은 아닌 것 같아요. 싱가포르는 미국처럼 tip문화는 없지만, 대부분의 식당에서 서비스 10%와 텍스 8%가 별도로 붙어서 메뉴판 가격에 약 20%는 추가해야 된다고 생각하시면 될 것 같아요:)

Compared to the expensive dining prices in Singapore, it doesn't seem too expensive. Singapore doesn't have a tip like the US, but most restaurants add a separate 10% service charge and 8% GST, so you should consider adding about 20% to the menu prices.
꿀팁 / Useful Tip
1. 싱가포르 내에서도 워낙 인기가 많은 식당인 만큼, 쥬얼창이 방문하실 날짜 2일 전까지 구글맵에서 검색 후 온라인으로 예약하세요. 예약 없을 경우, 평일 저녁이나 주말의 경우 1시간 30분~2시간 정도 웨이팅해야 해요.
2. 처음에 앉으면 주는 버섯으로 만든 pickle은 S$2.5의 유료입니다. 원하지 않으시는 분들은 처음부터 필요 없다고 하시면 돼요.
3. 다른 싱가포르의 많은 식당들처럼, 물티슈는 장당 S$0.30입니다. 사용하지 않으실 경우, 식사 후 계산 시 카운터에 갖다 주면, 결제할 때 빼준답니다.
4. 차이니즈뉴이어나 특별한 날에는 메뉴가 변경되기도 한답니다.
5. 식당에서 별도의 팁문화는 없지만, 푸드코트 외 일반식당은 서비스 10%와 텍스 8%가 추가로 붙는답니다. 메뉴판 가격에 약 20%는 더 비싸다고 생각하시면 될 것 같아요.

1. Since it's a very popular restaurant even within Singapore, I recommend searching on Google and making an online reservation up to 2 days before your visit to Jewel. If there's no reservation, you may have to wait for about 1: 30hr to 2hrs during weekday evenings or weekends.
2. The mushroom pickle that is served at the beginning is a paid item priced at S$2.50. If you don't want it, you can let them know from the beginning.
3. Like many other restaurants in Singapore, wet wipes cost S$0.30 per pack. If you don't use them, you can give them back to the counter after your meal, and they will deduct it from the bill.
4. The menu may change during Chinese New Year or on special occasions.
5. While there's no extra tip for server in restaurants, in general, most of restaurants except food courts there's an additional 10% svc and 8% gst. So you can consider the menu prices to be about 20% higher.
