싱가포르는 동남아 여행하기가 좋은 위치에 있어요. 저가 항공도 많아 저렴한 가격으로 이곳저곳 여행하기 좋답니다. 이번 발리 여행은 스쿠트항공을 이용했답니다. 스쿠트항공은 싱가포르 에어라인의 저가항공이랍니다.
Singapore is located in a great position for traveling around Southeast Asia. There are many low-cost airlines, making it affordable to travel to various destinations. For this Bali trip, we chose to fly with Scoot Airlines, a low-cost carrier under Singapore Airlines.

싱가포르에서 발리 덴파르사공항까지는 2시간 40분가량 소요되는 거리로 오전 10시 45분 비행기 탑승 시, 약 오후 1시 반에 도착하는 비행기랍니다.
The flight from Singapore to Denpasar Airport in Bali takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. With a departure time of 10:45 AM, the flight is expected to arrive around 1:30 PM in the afternoon.
체크인 & 탑승 / Check-in & Boarding
온라인으로 사전 체크인을 한 경우, 일반적으로는 공항에서 키오스크를 이용해서 티켓을 프린트하고 수화물을 부치면되는데요. 랜덤으로 티켓에 "Proceed to document check counter"라는 문구가 작성되어 있을 경우, 수화물은 카운터에서 여권과 기타 서류들을 확인 후 보낼 수 있습니다. 저희는 랜덤으로 서류 확인이 필요하다고 당첨(?!)되어 카운터에서 직원분께 서류를 모두 확인시켜 드리고, 수화물을 보낼 수 있었답니다.
If you have done online check-in, typically at the airport, you can use a kiosk to print your ticket and drop off your baggage. However, if your ticket has the phrase "Proceed to document check counter" written on it randomly, you will need to go to the counter to have your passport and other documents verified before sending your baggage. In our case, we were randomly selected for document verification, so we had all our documents checked by the staff at the counter and were then able to proceed with checking in our baggage.
게이트에서 짐 검사 후 비행기 탑승을 기다렸답니다. 스쿠트는 처음인데 해바라기 색의 샛노란색 예쁜 비행기네요. 프로여행러 꼬맹이는 타고갈 비행기가 예쁜 노란색이라고 좋아하네요.
We waited for boarding after going through baggage screening at the gate. It was my first time flying with Scoot, and their airplane was a beautiful sunflower-colored bright yellow. My little aspiring traveler was excited to see the airplane we would be boarding in such a lovely yellow color.
꿀팁 / Useful Tip
창이공항은 게이트 탑승 전 짐 검사를 진행하다 보니 다른 공항처럼 출국장에서 구입한 물, 주스 등의 액체류 반입이 게이트에서부터 불가해요. 출국장에서 기내에서 마실 액체류 미리 구입하지 마세요. 음료는 기내에서 제공하는 것만 드실 수 있답니다.
As Changi Airport conducts baggage screening at the gate before boarding, liquids such as water or juice purchased after passing through the departure area cannot be brought onboard. So, don't buy any beverages to drink on the plane at the departure area. You can only consume liquids that are provided on the plane.
어린이가 너무 좋아했던 포켓몬스터 비행기. 공항에서 보고 너무 귀엽다 싶었는데 스쿠트에서 꽤 유명한 비행기더라고요.
The Pokémon-themed airplane that the child loved so much. We saw it at the airport and thought it was incredibly cute, and it turns out it's quite a famous airplane for Scoot.
기내 / Onboard
저희가 탄 비행기는 3-3 배열의 A321 neo기종이었어요. 항공기는 새것처럼 깨끗하네요.
The airplane we flew on was an A321 neo model with a 3-3 seating configuration. The aircraft was clean and looked brand new.
꼬맹이는 언제나 창문가 자리에 앉아서 가방에 챙겨온 장난감들을 가지고 노는 게 그만의 비행기를 즐기는 방법이네요.
It seems like your little one enjoys sitting by the window and playing with the toys they brought in their bag. That's his own way of enjoying the flight!
기내식 / In-flight Meal
다양한 메뉴의 스쿠트항공 메뉴판. 짧은 거리라 이용이 어려운 메뉴도 있었네요. 기내식 드실 분들은 온라인으로 사전 체크인 하실 때 주문하시면 더 많은 메뉴를 드실 수 있답니다.
The Scoot Air menu offers a variety of options. Since it was a short-distance flight, some menu items may have been unavailable. However, passengers who wish to have an in-flight meal can pre-order a wider range of menu options online during the check-in process.
원래 컵라면을 먹으려했는데, 갑자기 항공기가 많이 흔들려서 뜨거운 메뉴는 주문이 어렵다고 하네요. 그래서 치킨라이스를 좋아하는 저희 꼬맹이를 위해 대신 주문한 진저 데리야끼 치킨라이스입니다. 달달한 맛으로 꼬맹이가 아주 잘 먹었네요.
Since the airplane was experiencing significant turbulence, it was difficult to order hot meals. As a result, we decided to order the Ginger Teriyaki Chicken Rice instead, which is a substitute for the cup ramen we originally planned to have. Our little one, who loves chicken rice, enjoyed it very much with its sweet flavor.
싱가포르의 유명 아이스크림 브랜드 우덜스! 싱가포르의 항공사 답게 디저트 역시 싱가포르 자체 브랜드를 사용하고 있었답니다. 우덜스에서만 느낄 수 있는 진~한 다크초콜릿 아이스크림으로 디저트까지 챙겨 먹은 저희 꼬맹이랍니다.

Udders, the famous ice cream brand in Singapore! Just like the local airline, Scoot, they also use Singaporean brands for desserts. My little boy enjoyed the rich dark chocolate ice cream, which is a unique treat that can only be found at Udders.
Regardless of Scoot Airlines, for those who visit Singapore, I recommend trying Udders. It's a beloved local brand by Singaporeans!
기타 / Miscellaneous
밥도 먹고 아이스크림도 먹고 비행기에서 놀다보니 벌써 발리가 보이네요. 하늘에서 보는 발리는 참 아름답네요.
Rice was eaten, ice cream was enjoyed, and as we played on the airplane, Bali is already in sight. Bali looks truly beautiful from the sky.
총평 / Overall
서비스 좋기로 유명한 싱가포르 에어라인의 저가항공 답게 깔끔한 실내와 서비스가 만족스러운 스쿠트항공이었답니다. 온라인 체크인 할 때 식사주문을 먼저 했더라면 다양한 메뉴를 빠르게 이용할 수 있었을 텐데 싶었네요. 다음 여행에도 이용할 계획입니다.
Scoot Airlines, known for its good service like its parent company Singapore Airlines, provided a clean cabin and satisfying service. We were satisfied with our experience. We thought that if we had pre-ordered our meals during online check-in, we could have quickly enjoyed a wider variety of menu options. We plan to use Scoot Airlines again for our next trip.
