미국 3대 햄버거 중 하나로 꼽히는 인앤아웃은 미국여행의 필수코스라고 해도 과언이 아니죠. 하지만, 막상 미국에 가서 먹어보신 분들은 이게 무슨 3대 버거야? 할 정도의 프레쉬하고 건강한 느낌의 햄버거로 느끼기도 하시죠. 그게 사실 또 인 앤 아웃만의 매력이기도 한데 말이죠.

입구에 들어서면 보이는 아주 간단한 인 앤 아웃의 메뉴판이죠. 비싼 물가를 자랑하는 미국에서 (많이 올랐지만) 그래도 이 정도 가격이면 아주 혜자스럽죠? 메뉴도 복잡한 햄버거 없이, 그냥 햄버거, 치즈버거, 더블더블버거. 하지만, 처음에 말씀드렸던 것처럼 요 메뉴가 전부라고 생각하지면 안된답니다!!!
When you enter, you'll see a very simple menu board at In-N-Out. In a country known for its high cost of living, which has increased a lot, these prices are still quite reasonable. The menu is very simple. Just hamburger, cheeseburger, and double-double burger. However, as I mentioned earlier, you shouldn't think that these are the only menu items!
엄마랑 둘이 먹었던 영수증인데요. 보시면, 치즈버거+Onion / 치즈버거 Animal 이렇게 같은 $3.55의 같은 가격으로도 다른 메뉴가 작성되어 있죠? 이것처럼, 같은 치즈버거도 다양하게 시킬 수 있답니다.
This is the receipt from when my mom and I had a meal together. Even though they have the same price of $3.55, there are different menu items listed, such as Cheeseburger+Onion and Cheeseburger Animal. Just like this, you can order the same Cheeseburger in various ways.

버거는 고기 패티에 머스터드를 같이 구워 피클과 특제소스를 넣고, 프라이는 자체스프레드에 치즈와 chopped 구운 어니언을 기본 감튀 위에 올려준답니다.

Burger Menu
1. It's a burger with a fresh taste, the natural flavors of the fresh ingredients. The basic burger on the menu gives a healthy vibe!
2. Craving something indulgent? Try the #Animal Style Burger with fries. (#Signature Menu)
The patty is cooked with mustard, topped with pickles and special sauce. As for the fries, they're topped with cheese, chopped grilled onions, and their own spread.
3. Want to skip the bun? Go for the #Protein Style Burger.
It's a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. Highly recommended for dieters!
4. Not a fan of anything but meat and cheese? Try the #Flying Dutchman.
Two patties, two slices of cheese, and grilled onions only!
5. No meat? Go for the #Grilled Cheese Burger.
It's a basic burger without the meat!
6. If the menu's doubles aren't enough, you can order extra patties and cheese with options like 3x3, 4x4, and more.
Other Options
1. Onion Options
You can choose from No Onions, Fresh Onions, Grilled Onions, or Chopped Onions.
2. #Spread, similar to Thousand Island dressing.
Add the special sauce to your fries along with ketchup. You can request it at the counter.
3. Enjoy some jalapenos with the indulgent burger and fries!
Be careful, as a mouthful of jalapeños will release spicy juices! It's intensely spicy, so be extra cautious :)
참고로 말씀드리자면,
제가 제일 좋아하는 메뉴는 애니멀스타일 버거와 기본 프라이+딸기밀크쉐이크랍니다.
사실 인 앤 아웃의 베스트는 햄버거가 아니라 감튀라고 해도 과언이 아니죠. 원래는 생 감자를 그대로 그 자리에서 기계에 컷! 해서 바로 튀겨주는 인 앤 아웃이었는데. 작년에 갔을 땐 감자는 잘려져서 튀기는 것으로 바뀐 것 같긴 해요. 그래도 세상 맛있는 감튀!!!!
햄버거와 감튀 모두 머스터드와 스프레드, 어니언까지 올려진 애니멀스타일로 주문 가능하지만, 담백함이 키포인트인 감튀는 그대로 먹는 것이, 햄버거는 좀 느끼~하게 애니멀스타일로.
그리고 아이스크림을 통째로 갈아 만들어주는 밀크쉐이크까지 함께하면.....!!!
그게 최고로 (살 많이 찌는 조합이자) 맛있는 조합! 왕 추천합니다!!!!!!!
By the way, my favorite menu is the Animal Style Burger with regular fries and a strawberry milkshake.
Actually, it's not an exaggeration to say that In-N-Out's best item is not the burger but the fries. In the past, they used to cut fresh potatoes right there and fry them. But now they seemed to have switched to pre-cut potatoes for frying. Nevertheless, the fries are incredibly delicious!
You can order both the burger and fries Animal Style, with mustard, spread, and onions. However, the fries, known for their simplicity, are best enjoyed as they are, while the burger can be enjoyed in the indulgent Animal Style.
And if you add a milkshake, made by blending the entire ice cream!!!
That combination is the ultimate (and weight-gaining) delicious combo! Highly recommended!!!!!!!
기타 / Miscellaneous
맛있는 햄버거라도, 워낙 인기 있는 인 앤 아웃에서 아이들이 기다리기는 어렵죠. 저는 스티커와 종이모자를 받아와서 꼬맹이랑 사진도 찍고 재밌게 놀아준답니다. 직원들이 쓰고 있는 종이모자와 같은 모자를 쓰고선 얼마나 좋아하는지, 집에까지 가져와서 며칠을 즐거워한답니다.
Even with delicious burgers, it can be challenging for kids to wait. I usually ask stickers and paper hats to get at the counter, and take pictures with kid, and have fun with. Wearing the same type of hat as the ones worn by the employees, he enjoy it so much that they bring it home and enjoy it for days.
